An Interactive Children's Book Presentation
We are delighted to share moments from the recently held multicultural event – the presentation of the book How the Little Animals Learned to Live in Lithuanian and Polish! This event was a special opportunity to meet the author, Ieva Bosaitė-Bliūdžienė, and the illustrator, Ieva Šeršniovienė, who together immersed children and their parents in a magical world of fairy tales.
The book How the Little Animals Learned to Live captivated the hearts of the young audience with its heartfelt stories and helped convey essential values – compassion, friendship, and love for nature. Enthusiastic children eagerly engaged in creative activities, illustrating their own booklets and sharing ideas of how they envision the world of fairy tales.
The event also featured illustrator Ieva Šeršniovienė, who shared her creative secrets and demonstrated how vibrant illustrations and playful stickers can nurture children’s creativity and curiosity in learning letters.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and hope that this inspiring gathering will encourage young readers to continue exploring the vast world of literature.

Multicultural Parents’ Breakfast
On August 25, parents with their little ones were invited to a special event—Parents’ Breakfast with physiotherapist Monika Karvelytė. During this event, not only did they enjoy a delicious breakfast, but they also gained valuable tips on meaningful activities to do with their children at home.
The event took place in an unconventional, cozy Karaim café, where attendees could not only savor delightful breakfasts but also immerse themselves in a cultural environment that promotes dialogue and communication among families from various cultures.
Physiotherapist Monika shared her knowledge about activities that help develop children's motor skills, creativity, and communication abilities. Parents learned simple ways to enrich their daily lives and create fun and beneficial activities for their children.

Talent Selection
This week, the Trakai District Municipality Public Library warmly welcomed us for a meaningful meeting with the Trakai community. A special THANK YOU goes to Kristina Serapinienė for dedicating her time to us and to Aurimas Rimai for capturing playful photo moments.
During the free event, Skaistė Vievesė presented the idea and event plan of the multicultural project aimed at engaging parents with young children living in the Trakai district. Through theatrical games, we had a great time, allowing children's creative abilities to shine, while parents gained knowledge of new games that will help children express their talents at home.
